Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B enterprise software and a proven track record of crafting compelling narratives that drive customer engagement and market success
- This is a high-impact role focused on pipeline generation and deal acceleration
- 8+ years of experience in solution and/or product marketing, preferably in a B2B technology environment
- Proven track record of successfully building and executing solution GTM strategies for strategic audiences, segments, or personas
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working alongside Sales, Demand Generation, Customer Success, Product, and other Marketing departments
- Data-driven approach with the ability to measure GTM success and optimize future strategies based on analytics
- Experience building and leading high-growth teams
- Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Customer-obsessed storyteller with a passion for building exceptional GTM strategies that drive results
What the job involves
- AlphaSense Marketing is a revenue and pipeline focused marketing team that encompasses demand generation, product marketing, corporate communications, PR / AR, brand, customer marketing, content marketing, and events
- At our core, we’re here to support AlphaSense’s growth, which we do by contributing to pipeline and revenue; developing a brand that’s widely known to the markets we serve; and encouraging user engagement both within our product and with our brand
- The Director of Solution Marketing will be responsible for driving the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for our industry-leading solutions
- This role is critical in defining and executing marketing strategies that resonate with specific audiences, including target personas, industries, market segments, and existing customers
- Deep Customer Knowledge: Use market research, product analytics, customer interviews, and other resources to become experts on our buyers’ needs, goals, motivations, and technology requirements
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats
- Use insights to inform product positioning, marketing strategies, and product development
- Audience-Centric Marketing: Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to specific personas, industries, market segments, and existing customers
- Ensure messaging aligns with the needs and pain points of each audience to drive engagement and conversion
- Solution Positioning & Messaging: Craft clear, compelling positioning and messaging for our solutions that differentiate us in the market
- Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all touchpoints
- Go-to-Market Strategy (GTM): Lead the development and execution of GTM strategies that incorporate new product launches, feature releases, and solution enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful market entry and ongoing adoption
- Content and Sales Tool Development: Oversee the creation of high-impact content that supports marketing efforts, including demos, one-pagers, webinars, blogs, videos, infographics, and more
- Ensure content is aligned with the needs of target audiences and reflects the brand voice
- Sales Enablement: Partner with sales enablement teams to develop effective tools, training, and content that empowers sales to communicate the value of our solutions to prospects and customers
- Create and deliver presentations, sales collateral, and case studies that showcase customer success and ROI
- Product Strategy Influence — champion our customers’ needs to inform product strategy and roadmap to better service our target audience
- Work with the Product Marketing and Product team to validate new product hypotheses and create GTM motions that can scale
- Demand Generation and Customer Expansion Support: Develop and execute strategies to market to existing customers, driving upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities
- Collaborate with Revenue Marketing and Customer Marketing teams to drive product adoption, upsell, and expansion of new and existing features
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, GTM, Marketing,, and other teams to ensure alignment on messaging, campaigns, and overall marketing strategy

To remedy this, AlphaSense has built a smart search engine that slashes research time for analysts, using thousands of sources and a semantic indexing layer that can effectively query finance-specific language.
As a disruptor and market leader in this field AlphaSense has few direct competitors, being most closely compared to Wolfram Alpha or LexisNexis. It helps that its tools are undoubtedly effective and valued by knowledge professionals: the company counts about 85% of the S&P 100 as customers and is trusted by J.P.Morgan, Microsoft, Credit Suisse and Google, among other major enterprises.
Having raised a large amount of funding over 2022 and 2023, AlphaSense has moved quickly to double down on its expansion in European markets, opening an office in Berlin to support this. With 2024 seeing investment from Singaporean EDBI, it is now setting its sights on the Asia-Pacific region. As business intelligence will remain key for enterprises as they compete for market share, AlphaSense is well-placed for additional future growth.
