Role

Who you are

  • The ideal candidate has experience scaling a fast-paced e-commerce company and requires proficiency in operational excellence, process optimization, analytics, and customer service
  • You have 10+ years of experience in a combination of strategy, business operations, retail, CPG, consulting, finance or an equivalent field. Experience with a D2C brand is a plus
  • You should be familiar with eCommerce (Shopify and Amazon) and retail processes
  • You should be familiar with ERP systems such as SAP or Netsuite, and take a direct role in supporting the finance team with public or private audits
  • You have direct experience dealing with international eCommerce and understand the details of international subsidiaries, 3PLs, and product regulations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proficient with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • You are hands on. While you know how to effectively manage a team, no job is too small and you’re happy to roll up your sleeves if something needs to get done

What the job involves

  • As a key member of the team, you will leverage Enverus Product capabilities and your expertise to deliver tailored, objective and actionable solutions and insights for clients through a consulting engagement model
  • You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of financial analysts, engineers, economists, geologists, data scientists, developers, and others to solve clients’ most critical business problems
  • You will leverage the data and analytics in the leading global energy SaaS platform and use it to interact directly with clients and help answer some of the hardest questions facing industry and investors today
  • The ideal candidate has a technical energy Raycon is looking for an experienced VP of Operations to lead the process of building a world class operations infrastructure to power our growth, both domestically and internationally
  • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring they are humming along
  • You will be responsible for enhancing our international eCommerce infrastructure, optimizing current unit economics and making cost improvements, ensuring our operational process delivers amazing customer experience, and streamlining operational infrastructure to enable sales and marketing opportunities
  • You will report directly to our CEO
  • This is a full-time position Monday through Friday (9am-6pm)
  • At Raycon, we look for you to hit the ground running from day one
  • Work with our existing partners and find new partners to drive operational unit economics
  • Source, prepare, and successfully launch two new 3PLs in international regions with streamlined inventory to order to returns processes
  • Develop and systemize cost improvements on a scheduled basis with manufacturers while building goodwill and a positive relationship
  • Reduce the impact of returns through thoughtful suggestions in existing operational and customer-touching processes to boost profitability

The demand for traditional cabled headphones and speakers has dropped dramatically in recent years due to innovations in wireless audio technology, resulting in a lucrative new industry. However, despite the demand, wireless audio technology still often follows a one size fits all approach to listening purposes, and due to the dominance of headphone producers such as Apple and Samsung, the prices are unaffordable for many.

Raycon sells wireless headphones and speakers, with each product being purpose-specific such as for everyday listening, exercise, gaming, and work. The company has differentiated itself from other wireless audio equipment producers by focussing on influencer-driven affiliate marketing for sales, whilst offering its products at a significantly lower price than competitors.

Whilst the company’s biggest challenge will be competing with the likes of Apple’s AirPods and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds, Raycon’s focus on influencer-driven marketing has allowed it to tap into a previously untouched market.
