- Being a master in communication and in active listening

What the job involves
- In this role, you will be responsible for developing new and existing affiliate relationships
- The Affiliate Manager will find, engage and develop marketing relationships with web site publishers, email marketers and other affiliate marketers
- Creating strategies for affiliate marketing meant to generate the sales numbers we're aiming for
- Develop win-win relationships with affiliates to boost the number and quality of users they bring in, making sure more of them become customers
- All our affiliate campaigns, we need them to run smoothly and generate the best outcomes possible
- Constantly generate fresh ideas and tools for campaigns, like bonuses and rewards, with the intention to keep our programs exciting and attractive
- Continuously assess the development of our programs and campaigns and act for improvements and best practices to put in place
- Find and bring in new affiliates and partners to join our program, making it even stronger and more successful
Our take
Bootstrapped Romanian startup Minutizer claim to be the only software company focused on pay-per-minute Skype video calls. With a suite of other products focused on telemedicine, adult entertainment, and fitness, Minutizer’s central product was originally a plugin specifically for Skype that allows individuals to monetise every minute of their video call.
Minutizer empowers freelancers and small businesses to get fair pay for every call they make. With the rise of digital consultancy in the 2020s, there’s a built-in customer base for Minutizer.
Though it originally focused on Skype, Minutizer has branched out to WhatsApp and Discord but is yet to bring its services to FaceTime, GoogleMeets, and Zoom. The latter offers far stronger business features than Skype and is the go-to service for consultancies and digital lectures due to its ability to host up to a thousand people, compared to Skype's one hundred. Minutizer must therefore make new partnerships and deals that can help them tap into the larger client base that other video call services can offer.
