UX Writer, Figma

• 5+ years of experience crafting UX, whether in content, design, or engineering
• A proven understanding of the English written language and its role in crafting high-quality UX
• A strong understanding and familiarity with common coding concepts and languages
• An eye/ear for cohesive, intuitive storytelling, and for high-quality, well-crafted design
• Experience working independently to explore information architecture, mental models, and content
• Demonstrated ability to craft simple language solutions to highly complex user problems

• We’re looking for a lead UX writer/content designer for Dev Tools—the team making it possible to build the ideas designed in Figma
• In this role, you’ll focus on the developer experience inside and outside of Figma products, and you’ll explore how we can continue to close the gaps between design and production
• Contribute to overall product strategy around Figma’s developer experience
• Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
• Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, design, writing, and research peers
• Create, collaborate, and iterate on the user experience—content, flows, and prototypes
