Who you are

4-5 years of DevOps/SRE/development experience in a fast-paced, agile environment
An understanding of DevOps best practices and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Proven experience of driving a project from concept to release
Experience with cloud computing providers such as GCP or AWS
Proficiency with Kubernetes, Kubernetes Operators and modern API Gateways, such as Kong or NGINX
Previous experience in Go so you can contribute to the development of our internal tools that improve efficiency and productivity
A drive for Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu, along with automation using Atlantis, Terraform Cloud, or similar solutions
In-depth experience with scaling CI/CD platforms, such as Github Actions and ArgoCD, with an emphasis on engineer satisfaction
Experience maintaining high availability and/or high traffic production web environments

What the job involves

As a Staff DevOps Engineer at Figure Technology Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and expanding our cloud infrastructure and engineer-centric platform tools
We are looking for a curious, innovative, and collaborative team member to help support our direct-to-consumer products that continue to transform the financial services industry
Greatly enhance our engineer’s experience by implementing new features for our internal platforms
Take the initiative to find and solve problems to improve processes
Drive innovative technical solutions while adhering to iterative principles
Lead cross-team projects
Use your voice and apply your technical skills to solve real-world problems
Act as a role model for junior engineers
Participate in a team on-call rotation

Our take

Figure is the largest non-bank provider of home equity lines of credit, disrupting the lending industry with its blockchain platform, Provenance. The platform works as a registry, ledger, and exchange; handling loans, mortgaging, private credit and private investment.

The company is one of few that offers users the option to leverage their cryptocurrency assets to get loans or mortgages. Betting heavily on the cryptocurrency market has presented both its ups and downs for Figure, but a successful IPO in 2025 suggests its position nowadays is steady.

As digital assets continue to gain mainstream acceptance, there should be ample opportunity for Figure to expand its reach in the future. The company's IPO was supported by Goldman Sachs, Jefferies and BofA Securities, and raised an impressive $787.5 million.
