Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of PR / events experience, ideally in-house
- A strong list of already established media contacts, to be built upon within this role
- A demonstrable interest in and understanding of luxury fashion and sustainable business practice
What the job involves
- We are looking for a PR & Events Manager to support on building greater awareness of the Wolf & Badger brand, as well as its ever-growing community of designers, in the US-market
- The role will include curating and overseeing exciting, forward-thinking events and activations to both engage and immerse press and tastemakers in the Wolf & Badger brand
- You will be responsible for pitching and landing coverage in top-tier US media titles, with the support of an external PR agency, to help further establish Wolf & Badger as a household name in line with key launches, business news and product trends
- In addition, the successful candidate will play a key role in further carving out our tastemaker community via the collation of online magazine articles, product edits and social activations with aligned industry specialists and authoritative names within the fashion and sustainability space
- You will work closely alongside the UK-based PR and wider Marketing team, as well as the NYC / LA based store teams, plus regularly connect with an already established and constantly growing media / influencer list of contacts
- Your objective will be to drive positive brand awareness of Wolf & Badger via the most aligned audiences, and to achieve results that can be measured and tracked to support an increase in both organic traffic as well as sales
- Support the PR team with the implementation of the PR and media relations strategy in the US
- Proactively establish and nurture key media, talent and tastemaker relationships
- Pitch the Wolf & Badger brand and it’s community of designers for product placement, wider features and news stories in relevant, top tier titles across fashion, business and news digital and print outlets
- Manage and oversee all sample movement, predominantly lead on the ground by the US store teams, as well as support on influencer gifting
- Request image assets from our designer network for media requests, building image banks for various themes/public holidays/key dates ahead of time for the team
- Lead on the ideation, planning and execution of all NYC events to include in-store opportunities as well as external activations, including NYFW
- Support on LA store event curating, with the assistance of the PR Senior PR & Events Manager and support of a US PR agency, in the Wolf & Badger Melrose location
- Support on managing the US PR agency relationship and their needs, with the support of UK PR Senior & Partnerships Manager
- Research into trends, industry news, collaboration / event opportunities, local and wider US partnerships and names for influencer gifting
- Collate press releases around key launches / brand advances and news, as well as for post event coverage
- Lock in and oversee Press, Tastemaker and VIP store visits in the Wolf & Badger NYC Flagship
- Research into,and curate, online magazine articles, product ‘edits’, and social activations with key tastemakers and external brand partners who are aligned with Wolf & Badger
- Monitor and track media and influencer coverage both online and in print - ensuring all is sent swiftly to the relevant designer
- Monitor and manage online reputation and brand sentiment
- Assist with the compiling of reports and the gathering analytics data, brand's visibility and reach
- Constantly generate new ideas to pitch to senior staff
