Experience: Typically 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
Proficiency in Modern Front-End Technologies: Strong skills in a modern JavaScript framework. Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript and NodeJS experience also desired
Cloud based computing experience: Experience in using the developer tooling of a cloud based computing platform such as AWS. Experience or knowledge of Kubernetes not necessary, but strongly valued
Responsive Design: Experience with responsive web design principles
Dedication to Quality: Dedication to Quality: Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Playwright and Jest to ensure high code quality and user experience
Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration on code repositories
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail in both functionality and design
Collaboration: Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships

What the job involves

As an early member of the evroc Console team, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our innovative cloud technology
Your contributions will not only focus on coding but will also influence the architecture of our applications and the overall engineering culture
This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud technology and define how our users interact with our platform
Deliver Next Generation Cloud Computing Products: Design and implement responsive, intuitive, and efficient next-generation Cloud Developer Experiences
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with our backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality
Optimise Performance: Create a scalable framework for building our UI which allows us to spend most of our engineering time on a small number of highly differentiated areas
Contribute to Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices to enhance code quality and maintainability
Implement Testing Strategies: Utilise testing frameworks like Playwright and Jest to ensure the reliability and stability of the codebase through rigorous testing practices
Stay Current with Technologies: Continuously explore and implement cutting-edge technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance our development processes and improve user experience
Collaboration: Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships
