Who you are
- 1+ years of SDR or BDR experience, previous work with SaaS Sales preferred
- Experience with engaging with potential customers over email, phone, and in-person
- Knowledge of our sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and Zoominfo is a plus
- Clear, concise, and accurate in your communications, both written and verbally
- Fast learning skills and passion for new technologies, quickly mapping them to business processes
- Effectively manage your time to complete objectives
- Experience being accountable to metrics, often exceeding them
- Thrive in a high-energy team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in German (C2 level or equivalent mastery), Fluent in English (other languages are a plus!)
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to be responsible for helping to scale revenue in the DACH region. Our Sales Development Representatives are specialists in researching prospects, discovering pain points, getting access to end-users, and setting meetings with influencers and decision-makers
- This role allows the Account Executive team to focus exclusively on conducting meetings with prospects and increasing the overall productivity of the sales organization
- This role is extremely important within the sales organization at ControlUp. You are responsible for helping to scale revenue across the company. Our Sales Development Representatives are specialists in researching prospects, discovering pain points, getting access to end-users, and setting meetings with influencers and decision-makers
- Follow an established and successful sales process combined with weekly coaching
- Setting quality meetings with IT departments across the country
- Play an integral role in building our sales pipeline and our business! In the SDR training program at ControlUp
- Participate in a mix of classroom-style learning as well as role-plays and practice
- Learn to generate qualified leads, prospect via a mix of personal communication methods, such as emails and cold calls, and establish the value of our platform
- Engage with a prospect, build rapport and find your prospects’ needs
- Demonstrate mastery of skills at this level by exceeding quota for two quarters in a row
