AI Product Engineer, Poggio

• At least 4 years of experience building intuitive, fast, and real-time web applications
• Solid understanding of modern front-end technologies like TypeScript and React and the underlying web standards and APIs they’re built on
• Experience collaborating with design to creatively solve problems
• Experience building real-time (e.g. using WebSockets) and cross-platform web applications
• Familiarity with backend engineering (and the desire to help out across the stack when needed)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent skills & experience

• Work closely with other senior engineers, designers, our CTO and CEO to understand the needs of our users and the business, in order to prioritize and scope product initiatives
• Build the Poggio product, frequently leading user-facing, design-driven projects from the idea stage through release and impact measurement
• Work from briefs that range from very open-ended to somewhat developed

• We do 5 interviews, then pay you to do a work trial which is close to what you may do for your day-to-day work

• Designer 1:1 (45 min video call): You will meet our designer who will get to know about your past experience working with design teams, users, etc
• System Design Interview (60 min video call): You'll meet someone from the engineering team who will evaluate your system design skills
• Paid Work Trial (All day): You will spend a day (remotely or in-person depending on location) working on a task related to your role, meeting the team, and seeing what a realistic day is like working at Poggio
