• 5+ years of professional experience in a project management and client service roles (internships count)
• 3+ years of professional experience in a Programme or Portfolio Management role
• Experience of People Management and a Leadership mentality with the ability to grow and develop talent
• Exposure to the insurance industry is a must
• Experience in a client facing role
• Strong organisation skills with a strong understanding of business drivers
• Experience managing multiple priorities while managing clear communication with all stakeholders
• Excellent relationship building skills with a knack to manage difficult messages
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record in expressing technical concepts in everyday language

• Based in London, we are seeking a Portfolio Delivery Manager to join the Service & Delivery team, reporting into the Head of Client Delivery
• The Portfolio Delivery Manager is responsible for managing delivery of the full client portfolio within EMEA, ultimately taking accountability for successful delivery of client projects and programmes to time, cost, scope and quality
• This includes line management of the Programme Management function, acting as a point of escalation and providing portfolio visibility to the Senior Management Team
• The Portfolio Delivery Manager is equally responsible for leading teams to deliver programmes of work, including policy migration, across multiple customers, managing resources, schedules and quality adhering to INSTANDA’s Delivery Methodology
• This also includes management of issues, risks and change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery
• The Portfolio Delivery Manager is an escalation point for the Programme Management function and has the authority to run the projects / programmes on a day-to-day basis and will also contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery
• Ensure adherence to company and departmental strategy and delivery of KPI’s, reporting to the Senior Management Team accordingly
• Lead a team of Programme Management Resources
• Work closely with the sales and accounts teams to provide accurate and timely support of new business or growth opportunities, including estimates and scope
• Monitor time, cost, scope, and quality of all projects in the EMEA Client portfolio to ensure successful delivery
• Build standardised, repeatable processes in conjunction with the other Leads on the team
• Act as a senior operator within the Client Delivery Team, approve contracts and represent at client steer co’s. Challenge where appropriate to ensure projects and programmes are delivered to Cost and Schedule baselines
• A key contributor to the INSTANDA Delivery Methodology, enhancing the framework to drive cost, time and quality efficiencies
• Accountable for Monthly Finance reviews to align billing, revenue recognition and profitability of the EMEA Portfolio
• Fortnightly Participation in Client Delivery and Prioritisation Working Groups to ensure that all Project Related change is appropriately managed
• Work closely with the Head of Accounts to represent client driven platform enhancement and change
• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Coach, mentor and motivate Project and Programme Managers
• Operate as a deputy to the Head of Client Delivery
