Who you are
- You have a minimum of 5 years experience in Technical Recruitment - expertise in hiring for Engineering, Product, Design and/or Data focused roles preferred
- Passionate about Recruitment with a deep understanding of the tech landscape and candidate market; Fintech/Payments experience and knowledge of the local Chicago market is greatly appreciated!
- Utilize analytics to inform hiring strategies and improve recruitment outcomes
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to define structure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Deep knowledge of recruitment sourcing strategies and ability to nurture a passive candidate talent pool

- We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our Global Talent Acquisition team and drive the growth of our business in North America, specifically our new tech hub in Chicago

- As a Technical Recruiter, you will collaborate closely with our hiring teams to spot, attract, and hire top talent, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our growing organization
- Perform full-cycle recruiting across the organization - from intake meetings, sourcing, and interviewing to debriefs and offer negotiation
- Collaborate with the teams to define hiring needs and develop comprehensive recruiting strategies for our Tech and Product teams
- Proactively spot and engage top talent through creative sourcing techniques, cultivate strong connections with candidates, and ensure a positive hiring experience through clear communication and support
- Stay current with industry and local market trends to enhance sourcing strategies while fostering an inclusive hiring process that values diverse perspectives
- Work closely with stakeholders to make data-driven hiring decisions and support smooth onboarding and integration of new hires
- Multiply your experience and knowledge working closely with Recruiters in the global Talent Acquisition team

Our take
Adyen has been one of the most successful businesses in Europe over the last decade. When it went public in 2018 at a valuation of €7bn, it raised over €1bn and its share price popped on the first day, resulting in a valuation of €14bn. Its valuation has continued to climb by the billions.
Adyen competes with large players like PayPal, as well as outsized startups like Stripe, to power payments and provide other infrastructure to conduct digital transactions. Disrupters in the field have been buoyed by a strong rise in eCommerce activity, where some or all of a transaction by a customer is made either online or by mobile.
Adyen has been one of the companies riding the wave by helping to reduce the friction between a company choosing to take payments online, and actually being able to do it. That can take multiple steps and agreements across numerous countries — Adyen’s pitch is that it essentially handles all of it in the backend as a service for its users. Notable partners have included Autocanteen, a touchless self-checkout solution for the hospitality industry, and BILL, a small business-focused fintech platform.
