Who you are
- Preferably based in the US with the ability to visit the New York office, but global candidates (Europe) will be considered
- Junior or mid-level experience in social media management
- Advanced/C1 level English proficiency if not a native speaker
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate with multiple teams
- Passion for staying updated on digital technology trends and applying them creatively
- Must provide links to personal or managed blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Instagram profiles to demonstrate social media proficiency and experience
What the job involves
- DOOR3 is seeking a dynamic and creative Community Manager to join our team!
- As a key player in our marketing strategy, you'll help us build a vibrant online community and boost brand awareness across multiple platforms
- Social Media Strategy: Set and implement social media calendars, posts, ads, and daily dialogues to align with DOOR3 marketing strategies
- Event Organization: Plan, organize, and participate in events on all platforms to build community and boost brand awareness, including user groups, live casts, and workshops
- Content Creation: Provide engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn)
- Customer Engagement: Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner. Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
- Outreach: Create outreach to previous customers to elicit online reviews. Coordinate with Marketing, PR, and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
- Promotion: Explore the use of KOLs, ads, blogging, and other promotional tools. Help drive DOOR3 messaging via social media for both DOOR3 and external clients
- Collaboration: Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products, features, workshops, and partnerships to create compelling social media content and announcements
- Networking: Introduce customers, potential customers, industry professionals, and journalists to the appropriate DOOR3 personnel. Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
- Daily Tasks:
- Content Management: Create and maintain a DOOR3 social media calendar. Establish and engage with user groups on each platform
- Engagement: Spend 2 to 4 hours daily posting original content, engaging with relevant content, and directing people to DOOR3 user groups on various platforms. Develop relationships with thought leaders in the space
- Community Building: Join other relevant user groups and engage in discussions. Tag other DOOR3 members in conversations and make virtual introductions where appropriate
