Role
Who you are
- We would ideally like this person to be based in Europe and to have hands-on experience in software development and integration
- 8+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, ideally within infrastructure, cloud-native, or AI-related domains
- Proven track record in leading complex development and integration programs
- Deep understanding of modern software development practices, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and software release lifecycle planning
- Experience collaborating with architecture, product, and engineering teams to define technical direction and deliver end-to-end solutions
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Prior hands-on experience in software development and integration is a must
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a seasoned Engineering Director to lead our AI Infrastructure Engineering function
- You will be responsible for shaping and delivering the technical vision for scalable, high-impact infrastructure that enables AI-first platforms
- Open-source, composable AI infrastructure solutions This role requires strong engineering leadership, deep SDLC expertise, and a track record of successful delivery in complex technical environments
- Lead large-scale, technically complex development programs from conception through delivery
- Define, implement, and evolve our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes to ensure high-quality, efficient, and scalable software delivery
- Champion a product-centric engineering culture, ensuring trade-offs and priorities are tied to business outcomes
- Own and refine the software release lifecycle, including planning, risk management, and coordination across stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and strategic direction to engineering managers and senior engineers across globally distributed teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Operations to ensure alignment and delivery excellence
- Influence technical strategy and investment decisions aligned with business priorities, especially in AI and infrastructure domains
- As the Engineering Director for AI Infrastructure, you’ll directly shape how our engineering teams deliver platforms that power the future of AI. Your leadership will ensure scalable architecture, release discipline, and tight alignment between product vision and engineering execution
