Who you are

Strong Golang knowledge and experience
Knowledge of AWS products like Lambdas, DynamoDB, etc but also comfortable in Azure and Azure devops environments
Containerisation and IaC approach (Terraform, SST are definitely a plus)
A good understanding of development methodologies and design patterns
C# ASP.NET, .Net Core also a plus but not necessary
Cloudflare
Experience with React, Typescript, Astro and NodeJS are definitely a plus

What the job involves

Effectively evolve, enhance, and modernise large-scale systems to enable rapid adaptability and continuous improvement
Drive the adoption of technologies like Go
Improve the performance, reliability and scalability of our systems
Develop and drive automation for deployment, monitoring, and scaling of infrastructure. Build tools and processes to enable continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
Make data guided decisions that impact core business metrics and processes
Solid understanding of platform and reliability engineering approaches, including observability, performance optimisation, capturing analytics and security best practices
Facilitate collaboration between teams and build a culture of continuous improvement
Mentor more junior engineers, providing guidance on engineering best practices, coding standards, and troubleshooting
