Who you are

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a four-year university with an expected graduation between May 2023 – June 2024
Related course work in advertising, media, analytics, marketing, and/or data science preferred
Only students available to start full-time in either February 2024 or July 2024 will be considered
Interest in technology and advertising with the ability to learn quickly
Ability to collaborate with others, communicate effectively both in writing and in- person, project confidence while speaking in groups, and humbleness when learning from others
Ability to learn Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced work environment
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

What the job involves

The Client Services (CS) team at The Trade Desk focuses on growing business from current clients through enhanced customer satisfaction and improved advertising campaign performance
The team works with some of the largest brands and agencies in marketing today by helping them to capitalize on the benefits of programmatic advertising in digital media
The two primary functions within Client Services offers talented professionals the opportunity to interact directly with marketers to make their advertising campaigns more effective
Account Management positions guide clients through The Trade Desk platform and drive value-added services and capabilities while encouraging feature adoption
Trading positions within Client Services analyze data to make optimization recommendations to clients based on insights and advanced capabilities
Both positions work together to provide clients with the highest level of customer service in the industry

Effective advertising in the digital age is almost impossible without the use of data to drive targeting, with first-party data commonly being used for such purposes. However, making use of such data can be difficult without the right analytic tools, and executing advertisement campaigns that make use of it can be even more challenging.

The Trade Desk provides a demand-side marketplace for building digital media campaigns, allowing businesses to plan and buy digital media, harness the power of their data, and customize publishing through APIs. The marketplace partners with over 225 data, inventory, brand safety, and publisher businesses to provide its services, whilst offering expert digital marketing advice and an e-learning platform called Edge Academy.

Whilst other advertisement marketplaces are available to businesses, The Trade Desk stands out with its approach of not only providing companies with the business partnerships they need but also advising and educating them on how to utilize them effectively. Its latest offering, Galileo, enables advertisers to onboard and activate their first-party data quickly and easily, bringing direct integrations with CRM, CDP and clean room providers, including Adobe, Amazon Web Services, Habu, InfoSum, LiveRamp, Salesforce and Snowflake.
