Who you are

Strong product mindset and ability to turn ambiguous problems into creative, structured solutions
Technical fluency: able to write and debug functional Python/JavaScript code
Actively building with AI tools today — prototypes, agents, workflows, or tools that you can show
Demonstrated experience experimenting with AI-generated products or rapid MVP development
Excellent written communication and structured problem solving
Passion for both product and coding

Desirable

Experience as a software engineer and/or product manager
Experience in e-commerce, online marketing, creator tools, DTC brands, agencies
Previous work in an early-stage startup environment
Good understanding of social commerce, creator economy

What the job involves

Collaborate with internal team & customers to prioritise features, validate concepts, and translate ideas into actionable product requirements
Be a full stack product builder - end-to-end products using AI-assisted IDEs such as Claude Code
Collaborate with experienced engineers for backend-heavy systems
Extend and connect systems via APIs, data integrations and workflow automatio
Create testing methodology to ensure tools including Ai/LLM deployments are production ready
Document learnings, monitor performance, and continuously improve internal workflows using AI-driven insights
Example project: Develop analytics and reporting dashboards for creators, manufacturers, and internal teams
Example project: Build and iterate on Go.shop’s internal workflow management tool

Our take

Whilst a brand and product creator may have a winning idea, developing, building and delivering these products is a whole different game entirely. Indeed, many creators find themselves at a loss when it comes to the practical side of building an online commerce brand. That’s where Go.Shop comes in, taking the lead on its customers' fulfilment, delivery and support.

Go.Shop will no doubt face large players in the market like Shopify and Etsy, but it carves out a niche with its lack of upfront costs. Utilising subscription fees and a creator-friendly revenue share, Go.Shop lets its customers focus on building brands and products, with minimal stress at the back end.

As it grows its own presence and brand, it will be interesting to see how Go.Shop fairs in the face of the dominant names in the eCommerce support market. Brands and creators will no doubt be looking for a fresh face amidst the industry’s stalwarts, and Go.Shop has the potential to fill that gap.
