What the job involves
- As Upway’s (Junior) Content Creator (f/m/d), you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting engaging, customer-centric content that boosts brand awareness and drives our mission of sustainable mobility
- From crafting catchy social media captions to producing impactful blogs, videos, and newsletters, you’ll bring our brand to life across platforms
- Our work will inspire audiences, drive engagement, and help shape Upway’s voice as we continue to grow
- Social Media Management:
- Own the social media content calendar, planning and scheduling posts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- Create visually compelling and on-brand posts
- Develop content that drives engagement, increases brand awareness, and attracts new followers
- Stay ahead of trends and adapt strategies to leverage emerging opportunities
- Monitor and engage with the community, responding to comments and messages to build a loyal audience
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics to refine strategies and optimize growth
- Create visually compelling and on-brand content (video & image)
- When producing content, you use your smartphone to film, take photos, and work both in front of and behind the camera
- CRM and Email Marketing:
- Create compelling email campaigns that resonate with our audience, drive engagement, and boost customer loyalty
- Develop visually appealing templates and layouts with an eye for design that aligns with our brand guidelines
- Monitor and analyze email performance, applying insights to improve open rates, click-throughs, and conversions
- Campaign & Website Activation
- Implement and bring to life marketing campaigns, including sales promotions and calendar-based initiatives, ensuring all content is engaging, creative, and on-brand
- Collaborate on the development and integration of website animations to enhance user experience and drive engagement

Upway is a second-hand marketplace for electric bicycles, offering a more affordable alternative to new models. The company purchases e-bikes from both private sellers and e-bike companies, refurbishing them and reselling at a discount, a model that appeals to those looking for quality e-bikes at a lower cost.
The electric bike market in Europe is booming and expected to double in value over the next decade. Upway capitalises on this growth by addressing consumer concerns about the quality of second-hand bikes. Through its refurbishment process, it ensures customers can confidently purchase pre-owned bikes, reducing both costs and environmental impact.
In addition to its expansion into key European markets, Upway has recently formed a strategic partnership with Rad Power Bikes. Through this collaboration, customers of Rad's US retail locations can trade in their old e-bikes for discounts on new models, supporting a circular economy. Paired with its $60 million funding round in 2025, Upway is consolidating its position as a leader in sustainable mobility.
