- Have no more than 3 years of professional, full-time work experience (excluding internships and research assistant roles)
- Must be returning to school for at least one quarter or semester after the internship
- Must be willing to relocate to San Francisco Bay Area and be available to work in the San Francisco HQ office
- Some experience building software or launching products in a non-academic setting (internship, hackathon, relevant projects, etc.)
- Interest in product management and marketing functions
- Flexible and collaborative approach to problem solving and ideation in a highly ambiguous environment
- Ability to operate cross-functionally, leading and influencing colleagues, and ultimately leading to timely tactical decision making
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Data-driven approach and excellent analytical skills

What the job involves
- As a SoFi Product Management Intern, you won’t be sitting on the sidelines during your internship. You’ll be working as a full-time member of our PM team, focused every day on building products and features that fulfill our mission to help our members get their money right
- This role will sit in Galileo’s Card Processing Product, which is responsible for powering issuer card processing solutions for 200+ clients including SoFi, processing hundreds of billions of annual volume for hundreds of millions of card holders across North America. We operate at a massive scale and are critical to SoFi’s mission
- As a Product Manager Intern at Galileo, you will have an opportunity to learn every aspect of the Product Manager role by end-to-end owning, shaping and delivering a new feature
- This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely with engineering, business development, sales, implementation, data, operations, finance, and many other teams to set project objectives, define product strategy, prioritize features and execute on them
- The internship will comprise of the following product development stages:
- Ideation - refine the scope of your problem statement and work with marketing stakeholders to outline the problem you are looking to solve, solution, success metrics, and impact
- Plan - work with engineering to build out an implementation plan and timeline for developing, launching, and testing your new feature
- Implement - work with engineering and marketing stakeholders to implement, and test the new feature. Track how your feature is performing compared to the success metrics outlined in the ideation phase
- We offer incoming interns the flexibility to select from two potential start dates:
- Cohort 1 - Monday, June 1, 2026 - Friday, August 21, 2026
- Cohort 2 - Monday, June 15, 2026 - Friday, September 4, 2026

The global neobanking market is still growing at a staggering rate, valued at more than $50 billion and forecast to grow 50% annually for the foreseeable future. While companies like Revolut, Monzo, and Wise have been at the forefront of this digital revolution, Galileo has been a major background player.
In essence, the 2001-founded company provides some of the world’s leading fintechs (including the aforementioned Monzo and Wise), with the software and infrastructure they need to issue cards, process payments, and build innovative digital banking products.
The Fintech industry as a whole sat up and took notice when SoFi acquired Galileo for $1.2 billion in 2020, a year before going public. However, it's worth noting that since then, Galileo has continued operating as an independent subsidiary.
New partnerships with the likes of Fundbox and Global Rewards indicate that business is still booming for Galileo, while the company also looks to be exploring new, potentially very lucrative avenues in the crypto industry.
