Who you are
- Preferred Tools & Platform Experience: Aspire, DashSocial (Formerly DashHudson) and Canva
- 5+ years of experience leading social media strategy and execution for consumer-facing brands
- Deep understanding of audience behavior, with the ability to create content that resonates, inspires engagement, and drives conversions
- Track record of building and nurturing highly engaged communities, growing follower count and increasing meaningful interactions

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a strategic, culture-savvy, and community-obsessed Senior Manager, Community & Social Media to own and elevate our organic presence across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
- In this highly visible, cross-functional role, you’ll drive the strategy and execution of ResortPass’s social channels while leading community development initiatives that grow brand love, deepen engagement, and reinforce our position as a category pioneer in leisure and local escapism
- You will play a key role in shaping our brand’s storytelling across our social and community channels
- We are looking for someone who is located in or near the NYC area, as this role will be in person at our NYC headquarters
- Own the social media strategy across platforms, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok
- Lead 2-week content planning and execution cycles that align with brand and/or campaign messaging
- Partner with broader marketing team to coordinate messaging and alignment across channels (Lifecycle Team, B2B)
- Source, edit, and publish captivating photo and video content that reflects our brand identity and messaging
- Monitor and adapt to emerging trends to maintain cultural relevancy
- Oversee platform growth and performance metrics that support larger brand KPIs
- Present weekly (async via slack) and monthly (cross-functional meeting) performance recaps with key insights, learnings, and optimization recommendations
- Respond to comments, DMs, and tagged posts in a timely and engaging manner, ensuring all interactions reflect the ResortPass brand voice
- Monitor and engage with relevant conversations in the travel, wellness, and leisure space, responding to trending topics and viral moments. Actively comment on partner, influencer, and industry-related content to expand brand reach and awareness
- Ensure customer inquiries are directed appropriately to our CX team
- Source UGC across our social channels to be amplified across other owned channels such as paid social and email
- Build relationships with our most engaged followers, influencers, and brand advocates to foster a loyal and passionate community
- Monitor sentiment and community insights to inform content and positioning
- Own and evolve the community and social playbook in partnership with the Director of Integrated & Brand Marketing
- Identify opportunities to scale brand storytelling across new channels or formats
- Guide junior team members and/or contractors supporting engagement or content development
- Stay ahead of shifts in social algorithms, user behavior, and competitive landscape
Our take
Luxury hotels and resorts are often regarded as havens for the rich and famous, being reserved exclusively for guests who are willing to pay top dollar to stay overnight. However, ResortPass is changing this narrative, by building a day-pass marketplace for establishments that want to bring in guests to utilize their amenities throughout the day.
The demand for local experiences has soared in the past few years and ResortPass is taking advantage of these growing requests. ResortPass offers over 900 brands for guests to choose from, including the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Sheraton. While some may argue ResortPass is removing the exclusivity for overnight guests, its business model is to monetize underutilized inventory and work alongside hotels to drive usage of these amenities.
ResortPass offers a distinct way for both tourists and residents to enjoy the facilities of upscale hotels and resorts. With endorsements from well-known personalities such as Jessica Alba and Gwyneth Paltrow, the company is a testament to the increasing favorability of the sharing economy and the demand for exclusive travel encounters.
