What the job involves
- We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team
- This team is responsible for making our resort partners succeed on the ResortPass’ marketplace by giving them the tools to manage their offerings. The Hotels team is also responsible for building products that support the guests when they arrive on the property
- You will be working along with the Product, Design and Data cross functional partners to build delightful products for our customers and resort partners that are highly performant - both in terms of site metrics and business KPIS
- Set the architectural direction of the Hotels team, considering both the scalable long term and practical short term implications
- Tech lead and execute on our ambitious roadmap releasing milestone products that will carry the company to its next phase
- Along with senior technical leadership, push the team’s culture towards maturity while staying stage appropriate
- We are versatile technologists currently developing on AWS using a stack that consists of Ruby-on-Rails, NodeJs, Postgres, MongoDB and ECS

Luxury hotels and resorts are often regarded as havens for the rich and famous, being reserved exclusively for guests who are willing to pay top dollar to stay overnight. However, ResortPass is changing this narrative, by building a day-pass marketplace for establishments that want to bring in guests to utilize their amenities throughout the day.
The demand for local experiences has soared in the past few years and ResortPass is taking advantage of these growing requests. ResortPass offers over 2,000 leading hotels and resorts for guests to choose from, including the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Sheraton. While some may argue ResortPass is removing the exclusivity for overnight guests, its business model is to monetize underutilized inventory and work alongside hotels to drive usage of these amenities.
ResortPass offers a distinct way for both tourists and residents to enjoy the facilities of upscale hotels and resorts. With endorsements from well-known personalities such as Jessica Alba and Gwyneth Paltrow, the company is a testament to the increasing favorability of the sharing economy and the demand for exclusive travel encounters.
