- 2–4 years of experience in office coordination, workplace operations, hospitality, or facilities support for high-growth technology companies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Service-oriented mindset with a natural inclination toward hospitality and hosting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing needs
- Strong coordination skills and comfort partnering with senior leaders, Executive Assistants, Talent Acquisition, and other cross-functional teams
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is preferred
- Located in NYC and willing to work in the office 5x/week
What the job involves
- We’re hiring an Office & Workplace Associate to support the day-to-day operations, experience, and functionality of our NYC office. As a cultural heartbeat of the office, this is a highly visible, service-driven role responsible for ensuring our spaces are welcoming, organized, and reflective of the Peregrine brand
- While the direct responsibilities of the role are coordinating office operations, vendor relationships, and onsite logistics - the real value and success in the role is in creating a white-glove experience for employees, candidates, customers, and executive leadership
- Support daily operations of Peregrine’s NYC office, ensuring clean, organized, and functional workspaces for employees and guests
- Serve as a welcoming presence in the office, greeting guests, coordinating conference room setup, and ensuring a professional and positive first impression
- Own in-office events and hosting logistics and execution, including customer on-site visits, team gatherings, Talent Acquisition onsite interviews, and leadership meetings
- Coordinate vendor relationships for office maintenance, cleaning, security, food and beverage, and office supplies — ensuring services are delivered consistently and issues are resolved quickly
- Coordinate workspace setup and badge access, partnering with IT and People Ops to ensure employees and visitors have what they need
- Partner closely with leaders, Executive Assistants, Talent Acquisition, and cross-functional teams to deliver a thoughtful and consistent office and visitor experience
- Identify opportunities to improve the office experience, proactively flagging gaps and suggesting enhancements to space usage, organization, and hospitality
- Support safety and operational standards, including emergency procedures, visitor logs, and building coordination
Our take
The digitisation of emergency response organisations, data and incident reporting is speeding up, but this presents a problem if this information is not digestible. Emergency responders must be able to quickly translate and understand information as it comes in, or risk this faster flow of data being made redundant.
Peregrine is a data integration platform that improves emergency responses by making data more accessible, understandable and actionable. The platform can be used for public safety at different scales, such as building, city or region-wide. Its machine learning capabilities are also able to collate raw surveillance data, linking people, places and events to track targets or potential criminal activity.
With a founding team that boasts experience in both security and environmental risk analysis, Peregrine shows the potential to bridge the gap between tech and law enforcement. And funding is being channelled into accelerating the company's growth as it looks to double its employee headcount in the near future.
