- 4+ years in related experience
- Knowledge of NetSuite is a must
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements and prioritize
- Ability to actively listen and learn, multi-task, and prioritize
- Must possess the ability to work independently and operate in a team environment
- Experience in a SaaS environment
- Ability to manage a complex set of objectives and team goals in a fast-paced environment
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google suites (Excel, Word, Docs, Sheets etc.)
- Commitment to excellent internal and external customer service
What the job involves
- Luma Health is looking for an intelligent and driven Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be a key contributor in the financial operations of our rapidly growing company
- You will be responsible for aspects of maintaining the general ledger, as well as month end close processes.
- This role is very dynamic and a great opportunity for the right person to take our current processes to the next level
- The position will report to the Sr. Order to Cash Manager
- Processing daily customer billing/invoices in NetSuite
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondences for Accounts Receivable
- Collection correspondence and follow ups
- End to end ownership of the Accounts Payable process
- Participation in all aspects of the month end close process including GL account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and work paper preparation
- Assist with the implementation of new software and tools
- Assist in financial statement preparation
- Drive process improvements and increase automation
- Assist with the annual audit
- Other duties as assigned
