Who you are
- BA/BS degree
- 7-10 years of experience in a senior customer success or account management role
- High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies
- Knowledge of SoFi products and platform features
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility for travel (approximately 10%)
Desirable
- Experience in the financial services industry; fintech experience is a strong plus

What the job involves
- As a Partnership Success Director, you will manage our largest and most complex enterprise accounts, ensuring success and satisfaction with our products and services
- Your role will be cross-functional, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Support, Data, and Engineering teams to ensure a seamless partner experience
- You will also play a vital role in offering SoFi at Work's unique benefits to your partners' employees, working closely with partners to understand their needs and tailor our offerings
- Your efforts will help empower employees with the tools and resources needed to reach their financial goals, strengthening our impact and deepening our relationships with partners
- This position reports directly to the Head of Partnership Success
- Enterprise Account Management: Own and manage relationships with SoFi's top enterprise partners
- Upselling and Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell new SoFi at Work products, proposing tailored solutions
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end partner lifecycle, including onboarding, utilization, renewals, and product expansion
- Partnership Success Initiatives: Lead key partnership initiatives like quarterly business reviews to drive partner engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty
- Performance Tracking: Set, track, and report on partner performance metrics to provide insights, share best practices, and drive business objectives
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to resolve product issues and identify growth opportunities with partners
- Customer Advocacy: Translate customer feedback into product insights
- Process Improvement: Analyze and improve internal business processes
Our take
SoFi started by offering ways for students to secure better financial terms on their loans, and now offers a huge range of personal finance products, including bank accounts, loans, mortgages, investment advice, and investment opportunities. Many customers find they have to go to multiple financial service providers to meet all their finance needs, but SoFi overcomes this issue by putting it all in one place.
Its goal, to cover all the financial bases, sets it apart from many of the traditional banks and even some of their digital competitors, such as Avant, which has chosen to focus on providing credit alternatives. Although it is operating in a competitive market with a lot of big players such as Monzo, Revolut, and Starling, the company has managed to raise huge amounts of funding to support its rapid expansion.
SoFi has focussed on global expansion, moving outside the US, and has made a series of acquisitions to support this - including a Hong Kong-based investment app called 8 Securities. After going public on the New York Stock Exchange via a SPAC merger in June 2021, the company has continued to evolve and release more mission-oriented services into its roster, and strengthened its lending capabilities through a $350 million post-IPO loan. To date, the company has sold over $15 billion in personal loan collateral and continues to strengthen its offering.
