Role
Who you are
- Master degree in business administration, management, economics, engineering, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience (Operations Management, Finance, Consulting) in fast-paced environment, preferably in a startup/scale-up
- Full fluency in English and French
- Advanced to expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and mentor teams at all levels
- Highly curious and enjoys understanding the end-to-end of a topic, from strategy design to operational details
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives, while effectively navigating ambiguity and quickly adapting to new challenges and opportunities
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects across a wide variety of functional business problems, allocating resources, and collaborating across teams within tight deadlines
What the job involves
- We are seeking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Performance Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in reinventing our internal processes to increase our margins and deliver even more Premium operations to our merchants and their customers
- Sitting within the Operations department, you’ll act as a strategic partner across Fulfillment, Transportation, Finance and Product teams to help us scale our internal processes and ensure optimal execution
- This is a unique opportunity to have a meaningful and immediate impact in an innovative startup and to get a 360 view on the e-commerce supply chain
- Oversee key transversal processes, such as operations planning, quality of service & billing/invoicing to scale them and better support daily operations. This includes continuous monitoring & reporting of key metrics, seeking continuous improvement, and contributing to long term vision to ensure the efficiency and scalability of processes
- Diligently manage and execute operational processes, ensuring the quality of day-to-day outputs and staying closely connected to their impact on operations
- Leverage data-driven decision-making to identify financial risks/opportunities and quality issues, and implement efficient operational strategies to address them
- Provide operational support to drive sustainable change and implement operational processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Provide specific recommendations and directions for product enhancements
- Collaborate with all Ops teams & stakeholders (COO, Transportation, Fulfillment, Merchant, Analysts) and Finance department to address new optimisation opportunities and identify margin levers

Bigblue provides an eCommerce and customer-experience toolkit, providing end-to-end order fulfillment services such as product storage and package picking, personalized packaging, delivery, and inventory analytics. The company specifically focuses on providing its services to businesses of any scale by only charging for products that have been shipped, whilst also connecting directly with all major eCommerce platforms.
Bigblue’s main challenge will be competing with other logistics companies, including Cubyn, Hive and Huboo. Bigblue’s intelligent pricing system (which charges companies relative to their size), and its focus on providing an end-to-end customer experience, has set it apart. Combined with a $15 million raise in 2022, Bigblue is set to become an increasingly bigger part of the logistics market.
