Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Advertising or related field from a four-year college or university required
- 2 or more years of related work experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Writing experience in several forms of media required
- Comfortable working under pressure within tight deadlines
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence
- Ability to write creative copy and simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to understand, breakdown, and simplify data
What the job involves
- The Associate Copywriter produces bold, strategic, persuasive messages in all types of media for agency clients
- You will be responsible for development of copy for integrated advertising campaigns and ensuring all work is creatively on point
- Develop concepts in multiple media platforms
- Write advertising copy from conception to completion for print, broadcast and online media to promote the sale of goods and services
- Collaborate with art directors and production on projects
- Deliver presentations to team creatives whenever needed
- Write in a variety of styles, when needed
- Participate in strategy discussions as needed
- Remain current on industry trends and technologies
