Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred)
- 2–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to SaaS or technology companies (Big 4 or public accounting experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on experience applying ASC 606
- Familiarity with ERP and revenue automation tools (NetSuite, SFDC, or similar)
- Proven ability to handle complex contracts and multiple revenue streams (recurring SaaS, service bundles, professional services, and usage-based)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Gsuite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a self-starter with the ability to partner across departments and geographies
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Revenue Analyst to support our growing global business
- In this role, you will manage revenue recognition for a mix of subscription services, recurring SaaS contracts, and hardware sales bundled with long-term carrier agreements
- You will ensure compliance with ASC 606, partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate complex contracts, and help improve processes that support both scale and accuracy
- Review and analyze transactions to ensure proper revenue recognition in line with ASC 606, including analysis for SSP
- Manage and maintain monthly journal entries, revenue schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and FP&A to assess revenue implications of new deals, amendments, revenue forecasting, and pricing models
- Support internal controls around revenue processes, ensuring SOX compliance
- Assist with external audits, providing schedules and technical accounting memos
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements, working closely with billing and collections
- Support ad-hoc projects and system implementations as Plume continues to scale globally

Smart devices within the home have become the norm, but Plume Design believes that this influx of revolutionary home tech is only as smart as the networks that support them. With many issues concerning smart devices, treatment is reliant on generic WiFi, unsafe networks, and expensive analysis. Plume Design remedies this with cloud-controlled internet platforms that are defined by the needs of the devices that use them.
With home office setups now the norm, Plume has fast become a necessary service for many small businesses and casual users. Its smart Wi-Fi networks are ground-level products upon which Plume offers more smart home services and it now has more than a billion devices on its network.
With substantial funding behind it, Plume’s post-COVID surge in business was one thing, but keeping up the momentum throughout the 2020s is quite another. Time will tell if the company can continue on its upward trajectory. But as long as it keeps its networks fresh (as it did in 2022 through its partnership with opensync software agent SamKnows), it shouldn’t have a problem as it scales up.
