Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Experience in data modeling using DBT
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling is a plus
What the job involves
- As a Senior Data Analyst at Blacklane, you will be at the forefront of our data-driven initiatives, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive business decisions
- Your role will involve developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their data needs, and conducting advanced statistical analyses
- You will ensure data integrity and accuracy, communicate findings effectively, and contribute to the strategic direction of our data division within the engineering department

- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track key metrics
- Own part of our data transformation layer where we apply data modeling techniques (via dbt) to transform raw data into analytics-friendly data assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses and predictive modeling to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality checks
- Develop domain expertise in a set of business domains (e.g. Product, Marketing, Operations or Sales) to become a valuable partner to our business stakeholders
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels
