Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in ad-tech/mar-tech industries with a proven record of growing strategic accounts; experience with Facebook, Pinterest, Snap, and other Social Media platforms w/ 3+ years experience managing a team
- Are naturally inclined to lead, organize, and run a team
- Are driven by sales, account expansion, and helping your partners achieve their business targets and marketing goals
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to create connections and engage confidently with a variety of audiences, including C-level decision-makers
- Have a strong desire to learn about the product in order to effectively sell up to the C-suite or down to end-users as needed
- Ability to collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering, customer success, etc.) record of meeting and exceeding quota on a consistent basis
What the job involves
- Given our incredible growth, we are looking for a highly motivated leader to head our Client Partner team in North America!
- As Head of Client Partners you will define, launch and drive strategic outcomes and operationalize the vision for the business you manage
- Leading the team that manages our key Strategic Accounts you will offer innovative solutions as a pioneer of the digital marketing industry
- You will build and maintain trust-based customer relationships with large advertisers while understanding consumer needs and delivering value-based solutions to them
- Establish relationships with senior stakeholders and across all relevant parts of customer organization
- Align on and influence strategic objectives and plans to achieve account expansion and increased adoption
- Plan together with customer decision makers, platform and other partners
- Help customers organization drive alignment, progress, identify bottlenecks and remove overlapping efforts by engaging with various teams and partners
- Together with CSM, be responsible for the account plan and plans for key customer initiatives
- Coordinate execution on a high level by setting clear goals and priorities, ensuring global alignment and knowledge transfer, and making sure key relationships are owned by the best people
- Create multiple feedback and critical issue channels within the account to ensure steady progress and flow of feedback
- Ensure product roadmap alignment and product team interaction with customers
- Form relationships and align objectives with the customer partners (ad agency, creative or data partners etc.)
- Own revenue forecasting and target setting for the customer
- Own pipeline and opportunity management in salesforce
- Have a hunger to close opportunities, make progress quickly with strategic account planning and be incentivized by commercial success

Smartly.io helps advertisers automate their campaigns across the largest media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. After seeing quick success following Facebook’s 2012 IPO, the company now works with over 700 brands including eBay, Uber, Ralph Lauren, Under Armour and TechStyle.
Its suite of tools automatically creates ads and videos from product images - handling budget allocation and audience targeting, as well as analysing where and when to purchase advertising. Consequently, Smartly.io has positioned itself to play a leading role in a market where brand and performance work are converging.
Smartly.io sold a majority stake to Providence Equity Partners in 2019 in a move to further its presence in the US. The company has since gone on to make several acquisitions of its own with Viralspace.ai and Ad-Lib.io. Smartly.io's ability to adapt to evolving advertising trends supports its continued growth, and its introduction of AI-powered intelligence across its platform shows it is keeping up with technology trends too.
