Role
Who you are
- 5+ years experience as a Channel Sales Engineer or Partner Enablement professional in a cybersecurity vendor
- Hands-on experience with the Penetration Testing profession (at least 2 years)
- Experience working with key information security channel partners, both internationally and domestically
- Experience selling cybersecurity solutions to organizations of varying sizes
- Ability to uncover business challenges and map technical solutions to business value; strong business and technical acumen
- Proven track record of partner enablement resulting in revenue generation
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Solid technical skills & experience with managing IT infrastructure: OS (Win, Linux), Networks and Active Directory systems
- Working knowledge of security platforms such as EDR, IPS, SOAR, SIEM, SSO
- CISSP, GPEN, CEH and/or other relevant security certifications a definite advantage
- Travel - 50% travel
What the job involves
- As one of the fastest growing companies in cybersecurity, we’re looking for a rockstar Channel Security Engineer to help build and execute on a world class channel program
- You will be responsible for owning the entire technical enablement lifecycle with your channel partners
- From training technical teams to developing enablement content to supporting and participating in demos and PoVs and providing post-sales solutions, you are a “go-to” Pentera technical resource for the partner community
- Own and execute the technical enablement strategy with channel partners
- Partner with Channel Account Managers to identify, recruit & enable new Partners that match the ideal partner profile for Pentera
- Enable the Partner community on Pentera’s products, value and competitive differentiators
- Develop compelling content to enable partners to become proficient at both pre-sales technical support, including delivering demos and PoVs and post-sales support for customers
- Provide technical pre-sales support for Pentera Channel Account Managers
- Enable the Partner community to be able to deliver top-notch demos, PoVs and post-sales technical support for end customers
- Support and participate in the performing of demonstrations and PoV’s for partner teams and prospective customers
- Be fluent and familiar with the competitive landscape to effectively address customer questions
- Provide technical representation of Pentera at trade shows and channel partner events, both in-person and virtual
- Build relationships and develop a community among partner technical resources to accelerate knowledge transfer that leads to greater partner led business
