Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on technical and growth roles
- Proven track record of success recruiting in hyper-growth tech companies
- Experience working in fast-paced, remote-first environments
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies for engineering, product, marketing, and sales roles
- Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills
- Proficient with candidate sourcing recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS) and sourcing strategies
- Ability to manage multiple roles and deliver under tight deadlines ( ave 5-15 open roles)
- Experience with Ashby strongly prefered
What the job involves
- As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for technical, operational growth roles
- You’ll partner with hiring managers to identify needs, build pipelines, and manage the hiring process from start to finish
- Given our hyper-growth environment, we’re looking for someone with experience recruiting at fast-paced, high-growth tech companies, capable of sourcing top talent in a competitive market
- Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from role scoping and proactive sourcing to pipeline management, candidate engagement, offer negotiations, and pre-boarding administration and background checks for Canadian and US roles
- Partner with department heads across engineering, product, marketing, and sales to define talent needs and design sourcing strategies
- Proactively source candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, industry networks, and other relevant channels
- Ensure excellent candidate experience by managing communication and feedback throughout the hiring process
- Build a strong and diverse talent pipeline to meet Bankjoy’s immediate and future hiring needs
- Work closely with leadership to drive recruitment efforts and meet aggressive hiring targets in a hyper-growth environment
- Maintain recruiting metrics and deliver progress reports to senior leadership
Our take
Modern consumers expect slick mobile banking apps, but whilst major nationwide banks can easily develop and deploy a sophisticated and secure system for their customers, smaller banks and credit unions often lack the resources to do this. With more than 6000 credit unions serving a hundred million members in the US alone, there’s certainly a strong potential market for such services - which Bankjoy is rising to fulfil.
Bankjoy doesn’t wish to compete with the major banks. Instead it has created a product that is aimed at smaller businesses, primarily credit unions. Its platform enables banks to offer their customers features like mobile banking, online banking, e-statements, online account opening, online loan origination, and conversational AI, all enabling them to better serve their customers.
The business has grown fast, securing more than 63 clients - including the likes of One Detroit Credit Union and UMe Credit Union - and serving over a million members to date. Alongside the 2023 launch of its "Online Account Opening 2.0", which enables financial institutions to quickly and seamlessly onboard new members and clients, Bankjoy won the 2024 Best Digital Banking Platform Award at the Fintech Breakthrough Awards. It's also secured impressive funding to support its continued growth and product innovation.
