Data Insights Manager, Warner Music Group

• 3–5 years experience in data analytics, preferably in music, entertainment, or digital media
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously
• Proven success in turning data into actionable business strategies
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, cross-functional environment
• Strong skills in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Understanding of the modern music landscape, including DSPs, social media, and fan behavior
• Communication and storytelling skills—able to bridge the gap between data and creative teams
• Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of curiosity and problem-solving instincts
• Post secondary education in financial and data analysis with focus on commercial insights and planning
• Evening and weekend work may be required

• The role will translate commercial business activity into actionable data insights, support budget and forecast planning, and drive alignment with key business OKRs through rigorous performance tracking and data analytics
• Analyze streaming, sales, and audience engagement data across platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
• Help manage and refine forecasting models to provide accurate, timely performance tracking and revenue projections
• Provide actionable insights to support budget forecasting, artist development, release strategy, and marketing campaigns
• Build dashboards and reports that visualize key metrics, trends, and performance benchmarks
• Identify emerging markets, genres, or consumption patterns to inform growth opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, A&R, Digital Strategy) to support data-driven decision making
• Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, compelling way—translating data into strategic recommendations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support key initiatives—such as product launches and pricing strategies —through strategic planning and performance tracking
• Help manage OKR reporting, ensuring business stakeholders have visibility into progress against business goals
