Staff Frontend Engineer, Ledger

• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of front-end development, a passion for clean, scalable code, and an eye for detail when it comes to design consistency
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development
• Previous experience in building a UI Kit shared across multiple teams, including component libraries and design tokens
• Advanced Javascript and CSS knowledge
• Proficiency in React development and in testing strategies
• Awareness of web accessibility standardsExpertise in Responsive and Adaptive Design
• Ability to promote consistency and reusability across products, thoroughly review contributions, and question processes
• Familiarity with Design System tools such as Figma and Storybook
• A passion for building delightful user experiences
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and influence technical decisions

Desirable

• We are looking for a Staff Front-End Engineer to join the Wallet Experience business unit
• Within the Live Hub squad, you will take a major role in building and maintaining a UI kit used in Ledger Live and other products
• You will also work on new features for the wallet on both Ledger Live Mobile and Ledger Live Desktop
• You will closely collaborate with the Design Language System core team, designers, and developers from various teams to ensure a consistent, scalable, and visually appealing user interface across multiple products
• Drive the adoption of our Design Systems, collaborating with design, engineering, and product teams to build reusable UI components
• Advocate for the performance, accessibility, and usability of our Design Systems and applications
• Act as the representative of your team in company-wide design system discussions
• Work on new features on the Ledger Live wallet/
• Mentor Engineers, review code, and contribute to our team’s technical strategy
