Who you are

BS/BA in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a similar field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate communications, public affairs, or marketing role; prior experience at a tech (SaaS or CPaaS) company is a plus
Ability to execute PR programs to a plan already created by global Marketing leaders
Solid communication skills – both verbal and written
Strong project management skills and meeting strict deadlines are critical to this role
Ability to build and maintain relationships as well as collaborate with both internal teams and external agencies and vendors who work with us
Experience with reporting dashboards (MuckRack) and general understanding of PR metrics. Knowledge of Tier 1-3 outlets, Share of Voice, Media Mentions, and other common PR KPIs are important to have in this role
Ability to interpret data, create insights, and translate it into applicable changes
Well-versed in writing engaging social copy / performance copywriting a plus (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Ability to work effectively with a creative, global workforce and within a virtual team
Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, dynamic environment where individual initiative is critical
Nimble, adaptable, flexible with a willingness to step up to the challenge with a creative, innovative and growth mindset

What the job involves

As an External Communications Specialist, you will execute on Public Relations plans/programs and help write engaging copy for our social media outlets
The mission is to help promote Infobip’s story for our North American region – to understand our strategic positioning, our company vision, and learn our product innovations and produce content that engages our internal Bippers, prospects, clients, the media, market influencers, and the telecommunications industry
Execute communication programs that are in-line with Infobip’s company goals and objectives – ensuring that key messages are targeting the appropriate external and internal audiences
Write, edit, coordinate, and produce content for both internal social network (Viva Engage, SharePoint) and multiple external social media outlets
Cultivate, network, and maintain strong working relationships with PR agencies, journalists, thought leaders, and industry influencers
Create impactful content on a regular basis to help grow Infobip’s presence via press releases, corporate announcements, newsletters, and creative content
Plan and execute media events and press conferences
Communicate and engage with local, regional, and national media on a regular basis
Manage media inquiries and arrange interviews, press statements, etc
Build long-term relationships with external influencers and key internal stakeholders
Develops monthly reporting for PR and Social Media performance
