Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of full time recruiting experience with a focus on technical roles (e.g., software engineers, data scientists, product managers, designers)
- Strong experience with direct sourcing tools and techniques (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem)
- Deep understanding of recruiting best practices and how to build inclusive processes that drive equity and representation
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred)
- Successful track record of hiring high quality candidates in a fast paced environment
- Organized and proactive problem-solver that can drive initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with a team
What the job involves
- As a Technical Recruiter at Pomelo, you will own the full lifecycle of technical roles, from sourcing through offer stage
- You’ll work closely with hiring managers across engineering, product, data, and design to support our highest-priority technical hires
- Attract, source, and engage technical talent through a variety of creative sourcing techniques and platforms
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, create clear competencies, and develop structured interview processes to minimize bias and maintain a high talent bar
- Utilize a data driven approach to quickly iterate on recruiting processes
- Build and manage strong pipelines for both current openings and future hiring needs
- Provide a thoughtful, seamless candidate experience from first contact to final offer
- Coordinate and schedule at all stages of the interview process
- Become an expert in selling Pomelo’s story, our growth trajectory, business priorities, and culture
