Role
Who you are
- Seasoned Product Management, SaaS/Cloud who has delivered successful products in security, governance, and compliance domains and in a SaaS form factor, at scale, while owning vision, strategy, data and execution of that product line
- 5+ years Product Management experience with 2+ years delivering SaaS products and demonstrable track record of building products and growing revenues
- Strong security and governance/compliance technology background with deep understanding of these markets
- Strong background in building solutions on top of public and private cloud services and using cloud native and container technologies
- Prior start-up experience or an entrepreneurial mentality validated by success within unstructured environments, a rapid integration mindset, and a clear affinity for the customer
- Product owner who is comfortable working with diverse set of customer personas and decision makers and can balance hands-on detailed work with high level work in a fast-paced demanding startup environment
- Demonstrated ability to define, refine, and implement development processes, and documentation and become the trusted advisor for the field for products/services owned
What the job involves
- The Senior Product Manager, will be a key member of the product and engineering team with complete end-end ownership for one or more specific products and services (cloud native Access Manager, Discovery, Compliance products or their SaaS offerings) helping Privacera’s product management team be a world-class organization through superior analysis, innovation, and execution
- Lead projects from ideation through launch, and continuing through ongoing maintenance and support
- Finding opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers
- Building business cases and designing features related to these opportunities,
- Driving go-to-market approach, including pricing and sales force engagement,
- Measuring and analyzing all aspects of the business,
- Identifying and driving operational improvements and cost reductions
- Collaborating across product management, engineering, documentation, product design, solutions & support, marketing, and field engineering teams to develop overall product strategy and define the vision, roadmap, and goals for our products
- Performing market research and providing driven data analysis to ensure that new product offerings meet customer needs and provide superior value at scale and quality to delight customers and differentiate Privacera’s offerings in the market
- Partnering with engineering to establish Agile product development and deployment processes with a small team that can accelerate, build, design, test and launch releases with frequent updates
- Overseeing feature prioritization for the development teams and keeping programs running on time within an agile development environment
- Developing metrics, systems, and processes to measure the efficiency of the experiences we are delivering to customers, and be able to find opportunities to improve and deliver value
- Working closely with a cross functional product team to lead the definition and execution of Privacera’s product and pricing strategy from insight to go-to-market execution
