Senior Internal Controls Analyst, Ping Identity

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
• 3-4 years of experience related to audit practices
• Knowledge and understanding of ICFR and US GAAP principles
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Works well in a team environment, as well as independently
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

• The Senior Internal Controls Analyst will play a crucial role in strengthening and scaling the Company’s internal control environment to align with evolving compliance and reporting expectations
• This position partners closely with Accounting, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement, and enhance ICFR processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• The role offers broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to influence control design at the intersection of accounting, technology, and operations
• The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic-thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to support external advisors while independently driving initiatives to completion
• Partner cross-functionally with teams including Payroll, Human Resources, Sales Operations, Finance to design controls
• Lead initiatives to automate and streamline manual controls and recurring audit activities, improving efficiency and scalability
• Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to execute control documentation, walkthroughs, and testing efforts
• Partner with external auditors to provide timely, organized documentation and support for ICFR testing
• Work with process owners to develop corrective action plans, monitor remediation progress, and implement sustainable control enhancements
• Participate in periodic risk assessments and process evaluations to ensure continued alignment with enterprise risk priorities and evolving business needs
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance control effectiveness, strengthen compliance, and increase operational efficiency
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned
