Role
Who you are
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team
- This position is perfect for someone who thrives in both structured environments and dynamic settings, where process improvement and long-term scalability are key
- Minimum of 3- 4 years of experience in billing and collections, preferably within the tech or SaaS industry
- Knowledge of subscription-based revenue models
- Experience working with channel partners such as resellers, distributors, and MSPs
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bookkeeping experience is a plus
- Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership of end-to-end processes
- Full-time position; willingness to work extra hours during monthly and quarterly closings
What the job involves
- In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records for our partners
- As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Cynet, you’ll play a vital role in shaping and scaling our AR and billing operations
- You’ll have the opportunity to grow your expertise, directly influence partner experiences, streamline billing operations, and contribute to important accounting projects—all within an innovative cybersecurity startup
- Generate and issue accurate invoices to channel partners and direct clients
- Ensure billing cycles are completed on time and aligned with contractual agreements
- Support sales tax reporting and revenue recognition scheduling
- Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on overdue payments in accordance with company protocols
- Build and maintain positive relationships with partners and clients to facilitate smooth payment processes
- Prepare regular reports on billing and collections status
- Analyze payment trends and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Support end-of-month period closing and financial reporting activities
- Manage billing and collections processes using NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ensure data integrity across all platforms and reconcile any discrepancies
