Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of marketing experience with substantial experience in a leadership role at venture-backed SaaS startup
- A deep understanding of B2B SaaS and Enterprise go-to-market strategies
- Experience building category-creating companies at the early stage (series A to series C)
- Strong experience in product marketing, pricing and package and enablement
- Experience growing teams from the ground up and hiring both ICs and managers
- Understanding and experience with different marketing approaches including content marketing, paid media, events, PR, account-based marketing and marketing automation
- Prior experience reporting to a CEO and presenting to the Board
- A commitment to fair hiring and building a diverse, inclusive team
What the job involves
- Reporting to our CEO
- Lead a team of content, product, PR and demand generation marketers
- Hire and grow our marketing team
- Develop an integrated marketing strategy for our company that aligns with our goals of continued hyper-growth
- Manage and refine our Ideal Customer Profile, our brand guidelines
- Oversee enablement and GTM for major product launches
- Help define our product roadmap based on market analysis, competitive dynamics and customer feedback
- Build a culture of rapid data-driven experimentation within the marketing organization
- Be a leader at Datapeople and help shape our culture and operating principles as we grow
