What the job involves
- The recruiting team is responsible for driving GlossGenius’ success by finding extraordinary people that are excited by our mission to empower entrepreneurship. As a recruiting coordinator, you will be responsible for making sure every candidate who enters our process has an amazing experience. You'll create, run and improve day-to-day operations and logistics around the full candidate lifecycle and will partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to own internal recruiting operations
- You will report to the Senior Manager, People & Talent Operations
- Own the interview scheduling process from initial candidate contact with the hiring team to offer, including day-of communication and operations
- Provide an exceptional experience for each candidate where they feel informed, prepared, and welcomed
- Identify and implement improvements to our recruitment processes/policies; always focusing on improving candidate experience and efficiency
- Own internal processes in our applicant tracking system management (Greenhouse) including interview feedback collection, metrics creation, and job postings
- Support and help coordinate recruiting events, such as social events, meetups, on-campus and virtual programs, internships, job fairs, etc
- Provide sourcing support on roles on an ad hoc basis

However, despite a modern facade the beauty industry lacks specialised software and still runs on generic CRMs and basic spreadsheets. Recognising a gap in the market, GlossGenius has stepped in to provided a specialised business management platform for beauty salons, spas and studios.
With no competition in this niche, GlossGenius has swiftly captured a large market share, with triple-digit year on year revenue growth. It serves over 40,000 businesses (70% of which are women-owned) and has more than $2 billion in annual transactions on the platform.
GlossGenius has raised a large amount of capital in several funding rounds closed in quick succession. It is aiming to accelerate platform development off the back of its releasing of consumer experience, payment and automation products. It is well on the way to fulfilling its long-term aim of developing into the Toast of the beauty industry.
