Role
Who you are
- Proven experience (3+ years) in product analytics, preferably in a high-velocity product environment, with a track record of delivering impactful insights and driving growth
- Expert knowledge of statistical analysis methods, experimental design, and hypothesis testing
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and other advanced analytics techniques
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar tools to create compelling dashboards and reports
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all analyses
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is a plus
What the job involves
- As a Senior Product Analyst, you'll be instrumental in driving product strategy and innovation within this dynamic ecosystem. Leveraging learnings from experimentation and user insights, you'll identify opportunities to enhance discovery, engagement, search and recommendations
- You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, engineers, designers, and our machine learning teams to optimize user experiences, identify opportunities to expand our catalog, and drive growth
- Collaborate with the product team to develop and execute data-driven experiments and A/B tests, focusing on Discovery initiatives
- Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, conversion rates, and content performance to identify growth opportunities and inform product and search and recommendation optimization strategies
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders based on statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Develop and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track and communicate critical KPIs and performance metrics
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators and design Product Analytics roadmap to drive Discovery strategy
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate data collection and instrumentation, providing guidance on tracking implementation and data integrity
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to refine and enhance data infrastructure and architecture to support advanced analytics and reporting capabilities
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, sharing your expertise in statistics, data analysis, and product analytics best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in analytics best practices, analytics tools, and statistical methodologies

The world's biggest site for social reading and publishing, Scribd's website has over 250 million unique visitors each month and a vast content library, consisting of over 200 million audiobooks, magazines, ebooks and newspapers as well as media created by the Scribd community.
While Scribd is the largest social reading site, it is not alone in offering this kind of media. It competes against some major players, the largest of which are Amazon's Kindle and Audible offerings, but also includes the likes of BookMate and the non-profit Internet Archive. Where it stands aside is in its feature-rich reader and the sheer diversity of its library, which, thanks to partnerships with several major publishers, features numerous popular titles as well as a range of independent creators.
Further differentiating it from competitors, the company taken a firm stand on social issues, in particular the recent wave of book bannings taking place across the United States. By making the banned titles freely available it hopes to do its part in preserving literary freedom. With this tendency showing no signs of slowing down, Scribd's intervention in this area could prove to be important.
