Founding Engineer, Neya

• Entrepreneurial mindset. You take initiative, you love solving problems independently, and you’d rather ship something imperfect today and learn than polish without feedback. You have a bias to action and thrive in ambiguity
• Stellar engineering fundamentals. Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, backend APIs, and React or similar frameworks
• Passion for LLMs and agents. You should be excited by the space and demonstrate how you’re already experimenting, hacking, and learning with LLMs, even if you don't yet have professional experience deploying agentic systems
• 1–5+ years of experience, or strong self-taught / project experience and examples. We don’t care where you learned to code. We care how good you are, how fast you learn, and how you think
• Autonomy + communication. You take initiative but aren’t afraid to ask for help
• Excitement for the mission of strengthening real-world connection

Desirable

• You’ll support our founding engineering team on core parts of the app, while taking ownership for features across the stack
• Work directly with a CTO and founders
• We move fast, we ship constantly, and we learn directly from users. You’ll be part of that loop from day one
• You’ll get ownership and trust far earlier than in a typical engineering role, and we expect you to rise to it
