Who you are
- 4+ years of affiliate and/or influencer marketing, agency experience a plus
- Familiar with Impact Radius or similar partnership management platform
- Experience in reporting
- Strong negotiator who can ownership of new partner leads
- Highly organized and efficient collaborator
- HubSpot experience a plus
What the job involves
- As the Influencer & Affiliate Senior Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting ButcherBox’s growth across both influencer and affiliate marketing
- You will handle the day-to-day execution of partner communication, creative asset management, and performance tracking, ensuring the seamless operation of both programs
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced execution, partner communication, and operational efficiency while learning the fundamentals of affiliate and influencer marketing
- You will work closely with the Senior Influencer & Affiliate Managers to implement strategies that drive customer acquisition and engagement
- Handle day-to-day communications with influencers and affiliate partners, ensuring timely responses and relationship management
- Assist in partner onboarding, contract management, and negotiations, ensuring a seamless experience
- Manage tracking links, promo codes, and creative asset requests for both influencer and affiliate partners. Support campaign execution by ensuring partners receive necessary assets and guidelines.
- Assist in data tracking and reporting, compiling performance insights for the senior team
- Help maintain affiliate commission tracking and approvals, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor influencer and affiliate content delivery, tracking compliance with campaign guidelines
- Support testing initiatives, helping track the impact of new influencer and affiliate strategies.
- Faster response times and efficiency in partner communications
- Streamlined processes for tracking, link/code management, and asset delivery
- Improved data tracking and reporting for better decision-making
- Increased support for strategic initiatives, freeing up senior team members for high-level work
- Building strong partner relationships, leading to owning and managing partner “customer support”
Our take
Dollar sales of meat are on the rise, with a growing consumer preference in the US for sustainably sourced, fairly bought meat. Subscription box purchases across DTC businesses are proving a runaway success, too. So it’s perhaps unsurprising that ButcherBox, a subscription meat company combining all these upwards trends, has been having a strong few years.
Given that ButcherBox hit upon a smart market niche, it is no surprise that competing startups are entering the space - and existing butchers are expanding to take a piece too. FarmFoods, for example, is a highly recommended rival, and Omaha Steaks saw substantial spikes in interest recently. That said, ButcherBox has continued to conduct a savvy marketing campaign that sees it win out on name recognition, and has allowed the company to bootstrap itself to $600M in revenue.
Recently, the company expanded into the pet food market, capitalizing on its large base of pet-owning customers, a move that holds significant potential as a promising new venture. Additionally, the company made its first acquisition in Truffle Shuffle, a vitual cook-along platform. This acqusition is aimed at boosting cosnumer confidence across the US, particularly within the ButcherBox community. The company is going from success to success and it will be an exciting one to watch in the coming years.
