Role
Who you are
- Enterprise sales experience in software or institutional sales, selling into a relevant space of financial services, crypto, blockchain or fintech
- Understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
- Direct experience working within financial services, cybersecurity, or cryptocurrency is preferred
- Track record of over achievement
- Entrepreneurial and relentless hunting attitude with a willingness to prospect
- Worked in a team selling environment
- We’re looking for you to bring a track record of success and experience of closing complex deals within the financial services or fintech sector
What the job involves
- You’ll be joining one of Fireblocks’ top-performing teams at a pivotal moment of growth
- We’re expanding into new regions — including DACH, the Baltics, Nordics, Central & Eastern Europe, and the Balkans — and this role will give you the chance to own your territory and establish Fireblocks in a new market
- You’ll focus on building relationships with crypto-native firms, Web3 companies, financial institutions, and payment providers, working closely working closely with Sales Engineers and the Business Development team
- With the full Fireblocks platform behind you, you’ll be set up to bring real value to clients and make a strong impact in your region
- Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Working closely with the Fireblocks BDR and GTM Team
- Building and maintaining relationships with prospects and customers
- Prospect, territory, and account planning
- Updating and maintaining Fireblocks CRM
Our take
The derivatives market has always been attractive for larger investors, but one of the biggest hurdles they needed to overcome has to do with capital efficiency, custody and security. Fireblocks allows for the trading of derivatives on any asset, using any form of collateral while receiving cross-margin benefits across counterparties. Essentially, it enables institutional traders to move digital assets without the operational or security headache.
By trying to make digital asset trading more secure, Fireblocks is banking on assets like cryptocurrencies becoming a new part of the mainstream trade of financial institutions. Cryptocurrencies are known for being notoriously unstable in their value but when traded properly, can be hugely profitable. Fireblocks believes that their cybersecurity services will make the industry seem safer and thereby make it more attractive to new participants.
In fact, Fireblocks are already on to something here. Now that cybersecurity standards have been boosted, a whole new crop of institutional entities has already set up shop in the crypto world. The more that follow suit, the more stable the market becomes - and the more potential clients Fireblocks can access. If Fireblocks can make digital assets both accessible and secure for mainstream traders, as they are doing through partnerships with the likes of CoinTrade, they have a huge potential market waiting to be tapped into.
