IT Specialist, Parallel

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a similar discipline, or 3+ years full-time experience working in IT
• Experience administering Active Directory in a corporate environment
• Experience with Unifi networking equipment and software or similar tools
• Experience using MDM platforms to manage corporate assets and endpoints
• Familiarity with a range of computer hardware, software applications, and the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to detect and resolve technical problems, install, maintain, update, and repair computers and peripherals, and analyze and resolve network connection issues
• Experience with major operating systems including Windows, MacOS, and Linux
• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 30 lbs

• Parallel Systems is seeking an IT Specialist to implement, monitor and maintain the IT systems that support our team. You will report into the Software org, and you will work on systems at our main offices in CA
• Maintain corporate IT infrastructure including networking and conference room equipment, end-user computers, and cloud assets
• Implement long-term network infrastructure improvement projects
• Manage licensing and access to various corporate SaaS subscriptions
• Perform on-site technical tasks, including installing, repairing computer equipment, network infrastructure, and software applications
• Respond to requests for technical assistance including over the phone, on slack or by email
• Assist in the onboard/offboard process for new and former employees
