Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have experience managing HR policies with a global scope, particularly across the Netherlands and the USA
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in human resource management or a related field
- At least five years of HR experience at a management or senior level, with a strong emphasis on employee relations
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the Netherlands, the USA, and experience adapting global policies to local requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with employees and managers across diverse cultures and regions
- Experience in creating and implementing employee engagement and retention programs tailored to global teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess trends, identify challenges, and propose practical solutions that address regional and global needs
What the job involves
- Scaler is seeking for a Global HR Manager who will focus on employee relations and performance management to help create a supportive, compliant, and high-performing workplace
- This role will center on strategies to enhance employee performance, support their development, and ensure alignment with company goals
- Act as the go-to resource for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, employment practices, and workplace issues while ensuring compliance with global employment laws and regulations, including Dutch and U.S. labor laws
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of performance management processes, including employee recognition and awards programs, ensuring they align with local and global practices
- Develop and deliver training programs that enhance employee understanding of HR policies, workplace rights, and performance management best practices, tailored to regional regulations and cultural nuances
- Collaborate with teams to create and execute initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, boost morale, and enhance employee satisfaction and retention across multiple regions
- Develop and manage HR policies with a global perspective, ensuring compliance with local regulations in the Netherlands, the USA, and other relevant regions while maintaining consistency across locations
- Analyze employee relations trends and performance metrics globally to identify areas for improvement and recommend proactive, actionable solutions that align with company go
