Role
Who you are
- Bachelors or Masters in Accounting / Finance
- CPA or pursuing CPA (Preferred)
- Big 4 experience preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance or an accounting role
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Detail oriented and have a “Hands-On” work attitude
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Experience working with accounting or financial reporting tool (NetSuite preferred)
What the job involves
- This position will work directly with the Controller to develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
- Assist in monthly / quarterly financial books closure
- Own specific areas during the close process
- Liaise with the business owners for the inputs related to the accounting
- Assist in maintaining the internal control environment related to the financial reporting
- Assist in reviewing the financial statements footnotes
- Addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities general ledger analysis, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and
- Support of budget and forecast activities
- Help controllers in analyzing complex accounting issues involved in the various deals
- Assist management in additional ad hoc analysis or reporting as needed
