  • Embrace complexity - You have an habit of digging deep to understand how things really work
  • Problem-solver - You thrive to find solutions to people's problems
  • Communicator - Excellent writing and summarising skills. As you will work with Bigblue's transversal teams, you make sure everyone understands complex situations and you build strong relationships with the different teams

What the job involves

  • We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our Product Team. You will be the liaison between our systems and Bigblue's users. Working directly with experienced product managers and engineers (ex: Apple, Vimeo, Kapten...), you will improve the adoption of our application. This opportunity is a unique hands-on way to discover all the facets of a tech platform and learn technical skills
  • Develop expertise in Bigblue's application in order to provide technical insights internally and externally
  • Capture product feedback, investigate people's issues and identify solutions
  • Create documentation and build training content
  • Additionally, you will shape the role! Whether you're curious about our Tech or about the Product, we will empower you to develop expertise in these areas and extend your responsibilities. This opportunity can be a launching pad to transition to tech roles, and especially at Bigblue

Application process

  • 30-minute call to understand who you are, what you need, and answer any of your questions
  • Test interview to assess your skills, with short practical case studies (30 min preparation preceding a discussion)
  • 2h (possibly onsite) with interviews with members of the team to assess human fit and for you to meet us

Our take

Consistent order fulfilment, logistics, and positive customer experiences are essential for the success of eCommerce businesses of any scale, but achieving this can be expensive - particularly for small businesses. Logistics providers often charge monthly rates that don't reflect the scale of a business, leaving businesses with no budget to optimize their customers' experiences.

Bigblue provides an eCommerce and customer-experience toolkit, providing end-to-end order fulfillment services such as product storage and package picking, personalized packaging, delivery, and inventory analytics. The company specifically focuses on providing its services to businesses of any scale by only charging for products that have been shipped, whilst also connecting directly with all major eCommerce platforms.

Bigblue’s main challenge will be competing with other logistics companies, including Cubyn, Hive and Huboo. Bigblue’s intelligent pricing system (which charges companies relative to their size), and its focus on providing an end-to-end customer experience, has set it apart. Combined with a $15 million raise in 2022, Bigblue is set to become an increasingly bigger part of the logistics market.
