Who you are
- We are looking for a motivated and talented individual who is eager to take on real responsibility and make a meaningful impact
- Educational Background: You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field graduating Fall 2026 or Spring 2027

- You'll work on meaningful projects, receive one-on-one mentorship from industry experts, and gain hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom
- The program is built to support your professional growth and help you forge valuable connections within the Crusoe team and beyond
- As an New Employee Experience Intern, you will design and lead initiatives to elevate our global onboarding experience while gaining hands-on experience operating a world-class program
- You aren’t just observing from the sidelines; you’ll be an embedded member of the global onboarding team, you’ll balance strategy with execution, partner with leaders, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to lead specific initiatives
- This is a 12-week in-person program based in our Bay Area offices
- While we have two locations- Sunnyvale and San Francisco, most events and programming will take place in San Francisco

- Program Design & Innovation: You'll cCreate and launch brand-new, team-specific functional onboarding programs tailored to meet the unique needs of our most rapidly expanding departments
- Manager Enablement: Develop guides and templates that empower managers to effectively prepare for and welcome new hires, ensuring a consistent and supportive experience across the company
- Data Analysis & Strategy: Analyze new-hire experience survey data to identify trends, develop recommendations, and present action plans to cross-functional partners involved in the onboarding lifecycle
- Global Program Operations: Support the daily execution of our global onboarding program, ensuring all administrative and logistical components run smoothly and professionally
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with subject matter experts and executive stakeholders to gather requirements and lead specific initiatives that improve the employee journey
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks within current onboarding workflows and apply a curious, analytical mindset to troubleshoot and optimize these complex systems

Our take
Crusoe is tackling one of the biggest challenges facing the digital age: the enormous energy demand of data centres and AI infrastructure. As AI models grow more powerful, they require immense computing power (and therefor electricity) to train and operate. This surge in energy use has put some pressure on power grids, driven up costs, and raised environmental concerns. Crusoe is on a mission to make this process more sustainable by finding smarter, cleaner, and more efficient ways to power the data centres that drive modern computing.
The company started out by putting wasted energy to work. Originally known as Crusoe Energy, it captured natural gas that would otherwise be burned off ("flared") at remote oil sites and used it to power modular data centres. Today, Crusoe has evolved into a major player in AI infrastructure, designing and operating large-scale data centres near renewable or stranded energy sources. It's now one of a handful of "neocloud" companies (next-generation cloud providers focused on flexible, efficient computing for AI workloads). And its facilities are helping tech giants like OpenAI handle the massive computing requirements of training advanced AI models.
Recently, Crusoe has attracted some huge investor attention, tripling its valuation to over $10B and raising $1.4B in its latest funding round. It's building OpenAI's first major US data centre campus and even experimenting with bold new frontiers. In partnership with Starcloud, Crusoe plans to deploy the world's first space-based cloud computing infrastructure, powered by solar energy and orbiting the Earth by 2027. If successful, this could redefine how and where computing happens, opening up a cleaner, virtually limitless source of energy for AI's next generation.
