What the job involves
- As a Senior Data Scientist, you will build and deploy the ML growth engine behind TIFIN AMP — a production machine learning platform driving acquisition, expansion, retention, and distribution intelligence across wealth enterprises and asset managers
- This is an individual contributor role with close collaboration with engineering and customer success
- Asset consolidation. Build models that predict which clients are likely to move more of their money to the firm in the near future, so advisors can reach out at the right time
- Churn. Develop models that detect early warning signs that a client may withdraw money, allowing advisors to intervene before assets leave
- Cross-sell and wallet share expansion. Create models that identify which existing clients are most likely to benefit from additional products or services, helping grow relationships more effectively
- Advisor and prospect prioritization. Design scoring systems that rank which advisors or potential clients represent the best opportunities, so sales teams focus their time where it matters most
- Product–advisor fit and engagement likelihood. Build models that predict which financial products are most relevant to which advisors, and how likely they are to show interest or take action
- Own the full ML lifecycle: EDA → feature engineering → training → validation → deployment → monitoring
- Own end to end model implementation for one or more enterprise clients
- Engineer large-scale feature pipelines across AUM, transactions, CRM, and third-party datasets
- Deploy models using AWS (SageMaker, Redshift, S3) and/or Snowflake
- Design A/B tests and control frameworks to measure lift in inflows and conversion
- Translate model outputs into clear, actionable intelligence used daily by advisors and wholesalers
