What the job involves
- Vesta Software Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Peak Performance Intern for a 6-month internship to support the Peak Performance Manager across multiple Business Units (BUs)
- As part of the Peak Performance Team, you will play a key role in driving commercial initiatives that enhance operational performance and contribute to the company’s growth and innovation strategies
- This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business performance optimization while working on impactful projects across various departments
- Support the Peak Performance Manager – Assist in executing performance improvement initiatives across multiple Business Units (BUs)
- Project Reporting & Visualization: Present findings through dashboards, reports, and visualizations, ensuring senior leadership understands and can act on key insights
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and clean data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and perform detailed analysis to uncover insights that drive improvement for specific projects and workstreams
- Administrative & Coordination Support: Manage emails, schedule meetings, track project progress, and organize key documents
- Troubleshooting & BU Support: Act as a first point of contact for Business Units, answering queries and providing support for performance-related initiatives
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with different teams to support process improvements and ensure alignment of key initiatives
- As a Peak Performance Intern, you will be part of Vesta’s evolving Peak Performance Team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- This role provides exposure to performance improvement strategies, data analysis, and commercial projects across multiple Business Unit

Our take
Jonas Software is an investment and software management company that focuses on the vertical markets, meaning markets that develop software for specific needs rather than general use. Founded in 1990, the company rose to prominence when it was acquired by Constellation Software in 2003 and now oversees more than a hundred companies that it itself has acquired over the years. It operates in over 30 vertical markets and has 80,000 customers for its solutions.
Investing smaller amounts in niche companies has paid off for Jonas, many of its investments later becoming large markets and leaders in their industry. For instance, Jonas’s expansion into the world of fitness membership software preceded the explosion of digital fitness apps. Other notable investments have included Jonas’s Clubhouse Online, a mobile app that helps book slots and reservations for golf club services in the mid-noughties, preceding the rise in online hospitality booking.
Throughout the 2020s, Jonas has expanded further into the hospitality, compliance and manufacturing sectors, merging its acquisitions with property management and online marketing companies to compete against the likes of Amadeus and Oracle. In a bid to expand and compete against younger yet larger companies, Jonas is restructuring its less profitable assets.
